WE HAD A GREAT TIME

We had a great time at Trish’s place. There is an extra bedroom with an extra charge which we decided to have which made the house perfect for us. It is beautiful with wonderful views. It is really well equipped with lots of extra touches which was really good. WE REALLY ENJOYED OUT STAY

In this lovely house. We had 3 unexpectedly fine days and enjoyed the sand and rocks at Freshwater West capped off with a lovely 70th birthday lunch at Stackpole Inn and a tramp along to Huntsman’s Leap via the Chapel. The house is comfortable and very well equipped.

HOUSE HAS WARM WELCOMING FEEL

The house is surrounded by beautiful fields and with a stunning beach just down the road. The views from the upstairs sitting room with its balcony are wonderful. The little herb garden outside the kitchen is really pretty. The house is well set out and very family friendly. The kitchen is a lovely warm sunny room and extremely well equipped. The house has a warm welcoming feel and we had a very happy stay. Trish was a very helpful host and everything was well organised.

Trish was a very easy warm host to communicate with. The Burrows is a lovely modern property with ample room, amenities and with a warm homely vibe. Walks to the beach are close and easy to walk to. All rooms are clean and well presented We were in the property for the New Year and the Christmas Tree added a great festive feel Perfect escape from the London crowds

AMAZING PROPERTY

6 adults and 2 dogs stayed here for Christmas 2022. What an amazing property!

Everything has been so well thought out. The house is spacious and comfortable with amazing views from every window. Kitchen is any cooks delight! Well planned out and equipped as well as any kitchen I've ever owned. Delightful 15 minute walk to a stunning beach. Many other walks from the door too. We loved our stay and hope to return. Host Trish is so helpful too.

GREAT LOCATION

Thank you Trish. Great location and really excellent property for a family holiday. Big grass area for children to play. Beach close but if you walk, a warning that it’s an uphill trip back! Two free car parks make it easy to take a vehicle. Facilities in the house are excellent. Angle village and another good beach only a short drive away. The sunsets were amazing, as was the Super Moon rising over the horizon. We had a very, very hot week and beach breeze was very welcome!

FANTASTIC PROPERTY

Fantastic property and location with everything required for a great stay in Pembrokeshire. 10 minute walk to amazing beach which even in July was very quiet. Have recommended to friends and family and plan to return next year.

WE’VE HAD AMAZING TIME

Just wanted to write while I have a minute, to say what an amazing time we’ve had. We’ve completely lucked out with the weather - it’s been glorious. And virtually all we’ve done is been between the beach and here at the house. A truly relaxing holiday. We’ve really appreciated how you’ve made the burrows feel homely. All the extras here for cooking with (I did a roast on Sunday), and cleaning etc have made such a difference and has made it feel a cut above just another holiday house.

It’s a really wonderful place In a lovely spot- thank you! I imagine at some point we’d very much like to come again.

I AM IN AWE OF THE KITCHEN

I just wanted to email you to say what a wonderful time we are having staying at the Burrows. Your house is truly lovely- it has everything you need and more. It is beautifully decorated and furnished, the little personal touches make it home from home. I am in awe of the kitchen - cooking on holiday has become a real joy. The location is perfect- we are currently sat on Freshwater West beach making the most of the sunshine.

INDESCRIBABLE BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

Hi Trish, vielen vielen Dank, dass wir in deinem wunderschönen Haus eine Woche unseres Urlaubs verbringen durften. Wir haben uns trotz Corona sehr sicher gefühlt. Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft zu 100% blitzsauber. Es hat eine unbeschreibliche wunderschöne Lage. Vom oberen Stock sieht man die Klippen von Freshwater West. Zu Fuß sind es nur ein paar Minuten bis zum Strand. Das Ferienhaus ist wirklich sehr schön eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Herzlichen Dank für alles. Liebe Grüße Simone

Hi Trish, thank you very much for allowing us to spend a week of our holiday in your beautiful house. Despite Corona, we felt very safe. The house was 100% lightning-clean on our arrival. It has an indescribable beautiful location. From the upper floor you can see the cliffs of Freshwater West. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach. WOW! WHAT A GREAT PLACE

The place looked great in the photos and was even better in person. Trish has clearly invested time and money into making the home a beautiful place to stay. All the amenities were of quality and the house if full of lovely touches. Excellent advice offered on local areas too. The location is unbeatable. Surrounded by amazing beaches and freshwater west walkable, plus being so close to the coastal path. Large spacious garden is a real bonus too. Beach gear available to borrow was also a lovely touch. We had an amazing family trip to a stunning area in a superb house. We will definitely return!

CLEAN AND STYLISH

Our family of 4 had a lovely stay at Trish's beautiful home. We were so impressed with the cleanliness and style of the house, not to mention the beautiful view from the kitchen and living room. The weather was a bit iffy, especially with Storm Dennis rolling through but that just meant we got to watch the storms pass by our windows while we sat snug in the living room with a glass of wine! The walk to the beach was super easy (less than 10 mins) and my boys loved exploring the dunes. Star gazing was great (in between the clouds) and being in the middle of nature meant we had excellent, quiet sleeps. We are hoping to return when the sun comes out and we can explore the surrounding areas in more detail. Thanks again Trish!

A GREAT HOST

A beautiful, comfortable stylish house in a amazing location with wonderful views. So much to do and see in the area, but it is fantastic just to be within walking distance of such a stunning beach and the Cafe Mor seafood was just icing on the cake! LOVE TO VISIT AGAIN

I cannot recommend The Burrows enough! The house is stylish, spacious and has everything you could possibly need along with the most beautiful setting. We have two teenage boys and they were kept more than occupied between surf lessons at the local beach and the VR centre in Pembroke. We found a great pub in Angle (one of Trish's recommendations) and another in Pembroke. We will definitely go back!

We had the best time, thanks so much, Trish! We would love to visit again. Your house is absolutely beautiful and the setting amazing. Rain or shine, we went to the beach every day. We all now have an unhealthy love of Welsh cakes!!!

THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE

We had a fantastic time. The house is absolutely beautiful and so well equipped, the best Airbnb I have stayed in. The beds are so comfortable we looked at the name of the pillows! Near to a fabulous beach where you can watch surfers or even have a lesson yourself. 20 minutes from the nearest town and there are some great walks right on your doorstep. We wish we had stayed for longer!

Thank you again for an amazing stay, everything was so easy and we enjoyed your beautiful home so much. My mum is now addicted to Welsh cakes and we really enjoyed the wine and bread sitting on the fabulous balcony.
